Aerial Drone Surveys

Our building surveying and inspection services have been enhanced with the use of state-of-the-art UAVs (drones). These compact drones can take 48MP high quality photos and 4K videos and are ideal for inspecting areas that are difficult to access such as roofs, chimneys, towers and more. We can spot building defects quickly and safely without the need for costly scaffolding or special access equipment like cherry pickers. Aerial inspections are a cost-effective way to identify problems early and reduce the overall cost of repairs and maintenance.

We have Civil Aviation Authority Operator Registration and Flyer ID, and are fully insured.

Schedules of Condition

Where construction work is planned to take place in the vacinity of an existing building it is often advisable for a detailed record of the building's condition to be prepared beforehand by a qualified Building Surveyor.

A Schedule of Condition can help to ascertain the nature and extent of any damage that may have occured to the property, and help to determine the likely cause and liability.

Access Agreements

When access is rerquired to neighbouring land for construction works and this is not available via the Party Wall etc. Act 1996 or the Access to Neighbouring Land Act 1992 we can liaise between parties, negotiate terms and agree licences for access and scaffolding on behalf property owners and developers.

Boundaries

We provide advice on property boundaries and can provide expert witness services in boundary dispute litigation, either as a party appointed expert or as a single joint expert.

Mediation

We offer a prompt and confidential mediation service for all types of property disputes.

We also offer advice and assistance to parties preparing for mediation.

Andrew McAllister is a qualified commercial mediator.

Training

Awareness of the rights afforded by the Party Wall etc. Act 1996 Act and it's implications can aid designers and clients in optimising developments and avoiding potential pitfalls.

We provide tailored training on the Act for professionals in the construction and development sector, such as Surveyors, Architects, Engineers and others.
