Planning
We are able to advise Clients on the development potential of their property, or property which they intend to purchase, and if appropriate we will make planning applications on their behalf.
We undertake initial consultations with the Local Planning Authority to try to ensure, as far as is practicable, that any application submitted on behalf of our Clients has a reasonable prospect of being approved. However, the planning process is such that the success of any application, however well prepared, cannot be guaranteed. If an application is refused planning permission we are able to advise our Clients on their rights under the appeals procedure. This advice may include liaison with specialist Planning and Environmental Solicitors, the preparation of reports and proofs of evidence and the attendance at Planning appeal hearings and inquiries.
